Principia Discordia: or How I Found Goddess and What I Did To Her When I Found Her

Primary Sourcecomplete

The foundational scripture of Discordianism, a religion disguised as a joke (or vice versa) centered on the worship of Eris, the Greek goddess of chaos and discord. The text is a chaotic assembly of absurd doctrines, surreal diagrams, and counter-cultural philosophy, famously introducing the 'Law of Fives' and the concepts of 'Creative Disorder' vs. 'Destructive Order'. It served as a major influence on the Chaos Magic movement and 1960s underground culture.
