Demonology and occult encyclopedism
A collection of bizarre accounts, anecdotes, and stories concerning the devil, demonic pacts, and supernatural apparitions. It was compiled by Collin de Plancy before his more famous work, the Dictionnaire Infernal. It serves as an early attempt to catalog the vast lore of the supernatural and the persistence of demonic belief in the post-Enlightenment era.
