Aradia, or the Gospel of the Witches

IntermediatePrimary Sourcecomplete

A collection of folklore and spells supposedly belonging to a secret society of Italian witches (Strega). Leland claims he obtained these texts from an informant named Maddalena. The book tells the myth of Aradia, daughter of Diana and Lucifer, who was sent to Earth to teach magic to oppressed peasants to help them resist their masters. It includes rituals, incantations, and the famous 'Charge of the Goddess', which became foundational for modern Wicca.
