This is the 1692 reissue of John Partridge's foundational astrological vade mecum, first published in 1679. It is a reissue of the original text with a cancel title page, printed for Edward Brewster, and includes the two continuation sections on nativities and elections with their separate 1679 title pages intact. As a concise but complete manual of horary, electional, and natal astrology incorporating the Centiloquium attributed to Ptolemy, it represents Partridge's Ptolemaic reform agenda. The continued reissue thirteen years after first publication attests to the work's enduring authority among practitioners.
