Rosa Baughan

Rosa Baughan was a prolific Victorian writer on esoteric subjects who published more than twenty works on graphology, astrology, palmistry, and divination during the 1870s–1880s. Her 1877 treatise Character Indicated by Handwriting and her Handbook of Palmistry (1883) drew on Kabbalistic sources and Parisian scholarship, making her a notable populariser of occult sciences in 19th-century Britain.
