Louis Herbert Gray was an American scholar of comparative religion who devoted his career to Iranian and Indo-European studies. He authored The Foundations of the Iranian Religions (1929), a comprehensive survey of Zoroastrian deities and cosmology, and served as general editor of the thirteen-volume Mythology of All Races series (1915–1918).
